Meet Eanaj Janae, the fearless artist hailing from sunny SoCal! Armed with just a brush and a dream, she fell head over heels for painting way back in 2009. With no fancy art school degree, she let her creativity run wild and tried every technique and medium in the book to develop her own unique style Her art is like a kaleidoscope, blending reality and abstract shapes to create a stunning masterpiece of colors and textures. Each brushstroke tells a story, painting a picture of the world that's both captivating and mind-bending. But it's not just pretty pictures- Eanaj Janae is all about using her art to shine a light on the struggles and triumphs of the Black community. Her work has been showcased in galleries and events across the East Coast, even gracing the stage at Miami Art Basel! But this girl is just getting started. She's got a whole world of new creations up her sleeve, including coloring books and other gear. Watch out, world- Eanaj Janae is just getting warmed up! -

my Practice is smashing all the old-school beauty standards and stereotypes with a bold social commentary. They tackle all the hot topics, like sex, dignity, consumerism, and individuality, by shining a spotlight on the ideal woman and their own vibrant culture. The art bravely challenges the idea that beauty is a one-size-fits-all affair and celebrates the many shades of Black beauty that often go overlooked. With sustainable materials and a rainbow of skin tones, the artwork is a true reflection of the rich diversity of our world. And, let's not forget the crowning glory of natural hair, which is proudly showcased as a symbol of Black beauty. By putting Black culture at the heart of the art world and giving voice to the stories of underrepresented communities, this artist is a true inspiration.

LA Sparks: We play REAL
March 2021
A local artist collaborates with La Sparks to design their new team jersey, incorporating LA references and childhood memories into the creation. The design celebrates new creations and basketball's significance, and the artist's personal basketball career and coaching experience inspired the design.
The painting is full of exciting Easter eggs, such as the iconic Colosseum where the Sparks and Lakers played, the street food found across the streets of LA, and the butterflies in her hair representing a carefree spirit. If you grew up playing ball in SoCal, you certainly owned a Lady Hoop tee. The painting embodies the happiness of being a girl from the streets of LA and the pride of being a champion – it's in your blood.
